Notes from these calls reveal an interesting - and disturbing - trend. People are saying they have been online for *years* and never made a dime. I mean nothing, zip, zero ... nada. To be sure, they have *spent* money buying ebooks, courses, teleseminars, and more. And they have spent time - precious time away from the people and things they love - in order to learn what to do. But they have yet to see a return on that investment. Is it possible to start with very little cash on hand and make money online quickly? You bet. And I'm going to show you how right now - and free - in this article. Here we go. The basis of selling anything online can be summed up in this way. * Find a market If you succeed, repeat the process. If you fail (and by fail I mean make less than you spend) learn from it and move on. If I was starting over and absolutely had to make a hundred bucks in 48 hours, here is what I would do. >>> Find A Market People come online to find information, not to buy things. When they do buy things, it's usually a result of them seeing an irresistible (to them) offer about a product they were search for information about. That's why most purchases begin with a search. So, the place to start is to answer the question 'what are people searching for?' The best way I know to do that is to use Wordtracker. This excellent service tracks who is searching for what and makes those numbers available to you. They even have a free trial, which I would use to get started. What you are looking for is a word that was search on thousands of times in the last 48 hours. Wordtracker will reveal that free. The more searches, the better. Cost - Zero dollars >>> Find A Product Now you need a product that matches the theme of the market you found using Wordtracker. Example: People having babies buy baby name books. The easiest way to start is Clickbank. They list thousands of products, it's free to become an affiliate, and you can search their list of products by keyword. You want to use the same keyword you discovered using Wordtracker. Using the same keyword or phrase you found at Wordtracker, search the Clickbank marketplace for a product to sell. I would look for a website that seems very convincing (it's a very good sign if you would buy the product, or think it's a great value) Also, look for a site where the product is very low priced or sells for $100 or more. You need either brisk sales at a lower price or a big commission to make this work. If in doubt, contact the site owner and ask him or her how well the site converts. If they answer and can give a specific number, you've found a good product. Cost - Zero Dollars >>> Buy Some Ads Since the idea here is to earn something quickly, I'm going to focus completely on pay per click, which is the fastest way to get started. The top two pay per click networks today are Google and Yahoo. It cost nothing to start with either and you can spend pretty much as little as you want. Plus, you determine how much you will pay when someone clicks your ad. http://www.google.com (Click advertising programs) http://www.yahoo.com (Click ad programs) What you will do is to bid on the keyword you found at Wordtracker. In other words, you are saying to Google, "I'll pay you 10 cents every time someone clicks on my ad" Hence the name 'pay per click' These pay per click ads will be shown on the search results that Google and Yahoo provide when people search. Pay 20 cents or less if you can. If the word you have chosen costs too much to bid on (some keywords have very high minimum bids) then find another. You *will* be able to find this with some trial and error. Cost - $20 >>> See What Happens If you send 100 visitors to a site that converts at 2% of visitors you should make two sales. If each of those sales pays you only $50, you will have earned $100. Less your $20 investment, you've earned $80 very real dollars. That's a 400% profit. Was it worth your time? To determine that, ask yourself this. If you handed me a $20 bill and I gave you four $20 bills in return would it be a good deal? How often would you do it? I think you know the answer to that one. ;) There you have it ... the fastest way I know online to make some real money. Will $100 help you live in luxury or become debt free? Of course not. But learning the PROCESS above will empower you to make money online from the comfort of your home, and is something that can grow into a powerful full time business, one where you set the hours and reap the rewards.
