HTML Editors To Make Website Promotion Easier

HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language - the language of the web. HMTL is the code behind all web pages and blogs, and can be very difficult to learn in it's code form. But if you are going to do any sort of website promotion, you need to know how to create a webpage or edit a webpage.

This is why many companies have created HTML editors, programs that help you create HTML code without having to learn the code itself.

Each of these HTML editors is free to use. The descriptions below were provided by each website.

The chances are, if you are reading this page, you don't know how to edit HTML code in a text editor like NotePad. I don't either, nor do I want to learn that skill.

That's why I recommend you use a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor to create or change webpages.

If you want a professional product that will allow you to create beautiful websites quickly and easily, I strongly recommend XSitePro. I switched to XSitePro in 2005 after many years of using FrontPage.

You can learn more about XSitePro here.

Another route, if you want a professional product but want to save money, is to buy an older or unused version of FrontPage. FrontPage really is very easy to use. If you can use Word, you'll have no problems with FrontPage. I suggest using eBay to find a copy of FrontPage, but do be careful to buy an official copy with documentation and CD or disks.

To be clear, I have not used most of these programs. I have used Netscpae (now Mozilla) and can attest to it's ease of use. I also hear that Trellian is easy to use and Coffee Cup looks excellent. I suggest looking for screenshots of how the program works before downloading.

I hope this page helps you choose an HTML editor and promote your website.
